Fast is a feature
Every 100 ms of load time costs conversions. I set a performance budget at the start of a project and hold the design to it, which occasionally means telling you no about a video header.
About
You talk to the person who writes the code, hosts the site and secures it. That is the whole pitch, and it is the reason projects here take weeks instead of quarters.
I've been building for the web since 2024, and coding for around four years.
I'm a 20-year-old developer based in Manchester, and I started this as a small venture with one aim: to give individuals and small businesses a proper website, and the reach that comes with it, without the price tag an agency would put on it.
The way I work follows from that: fixed scope, fixed price, documentation from week one, and a repository handed over in your name at the end. You are never left guessing what I am doing or what it will cost.
The work itself is mostly hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript on a Python backend. I have found it is the fastest thing to load, the cheapest thing to host, and the easiest thing for whoever comes after me to understand.

How I work
Every 100 ms of load time costs conversions. I set a performance budget at the start of a project and hold the design to it, which occasionally means telling you no about a video header.
You get the repository, the deploy keys and the reasoning. If I get hit by a bus, the next developer opens your codebase and understands it in an afternoon.
Fixed quote, fixed date. If I underestimate, that's my problem - not an invoice you didn't expect. Change your mind mid-project and we'll price the change openly before it starts.
Keyboard navigation, real contrast ratios, sensible focus states and screen-reader testing on every build. It's not an upsell, it's the job.

A 45-minute call, no pitch deck. You'll leave with a straight answer about scope, cost and whether I'm the right person for it.
